Great how-to article here on using a pull through knife sharpener. Many people favour a knife sharpening steel (as I do), or even a sharpening stone, but this piece outlines the third way.
I have never probably use a sharpener like this, only once on a low grade garden knife on a rusty sharpener, so can’t add too much…do you have any experiences with a pull through?
