Kitchen Knife Throwing
Kitchen knife throwing is probably one of the more odd sports there are out there, and we are not actually sure how many people partake in this bizarre past time.
Throwing knives have been around for centuries, and they were once a pretty nasty weapon of war, but recently they have obviously declined somewhat in their use.
The difference between kitchen knives and throwing knives is all in the balance. Whilst throwing knives are evenly balanced to make them spin through the air as smoothly as possible, kitchen knives are designed to balance in the hand, which means the handle will be heavier than the blade, as the blade is much longer, so it needs to be counter balanced.
Are you into kitchen knife throwing?
If you are into kitchen knife throwing, we would definitely love to hear from you and maybe to put together a little interview so other people can learn the ins and outs of this esoteric sport.
If you’re not a seasoned kitchen knife thrower, then we wholeheartedly suggest that you stay way from it, as it will doubtless be pretty dangerous!
